MUNICIPALITY ASKED FOR CITY AND PUBLIC COMMUNAL ENTERPRISES SUPPORT

In Gabrovac village the works on the construction of secondary water supply were completed. On this occasion the members of the authorities of Palilula Municipality, PhD Igor Novakovic, president Milan Djurdjevic, president of the Assembly and Milos Stojkovic, member of Municipal and Aleksandar Mitic, general manager of Public Enterprise `Naissus`, Nis discussed with the villagers the solving problem of water supply and participation of every citizen and every household in financial obligations. Since the expenses of the water supply connection device to secondary water supply are very high in this moment, according to the opinion of Gabrovac villagers, adequate city help was demanded, but also help of Palilula Municipality, Public Enterprise Naisus and Public Enterprise Directorate for City of Nis structuring. Old water supply in Gabrovac was build over 40 years ago and after the connection of all citizens it will be cut off.

PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, according to the demands and conclusions held in Gabrovac sent the proposition to the Mayor of Nis and Management of Public Enterprise Naisus and Public Enterprise Directorate for City of Nis structuring and the information on the possibilities for solving this matter. According to the opinion of president Novakovic, it is necessary to provide the people living in Gabrovac village the paying of the connection to city water supply on 12 monthly rates. Palilula Municipality will separate from its budget 300,000 dinars for the subvention of citizens aiming at the support of connection of households to city water supply net. Since Palilula Municipality does not have the data on the number of households that are about to connect, the subvention will be paid successively per connection, i.e. in time each household connects to water supply. Palilula Municipality, emphasized Novakovic, is ready to cover one part of the city expenses of montage and one part of the equipment like telescope or `cap` are.

The programme of communal infrastructure construction in rural area of Palilula Municipality successfully is being realized in 2011 thanks to the efforts of the authorities of Palilula and good cooperation with Public Communal Enterprise `Naissus` in Nis but also Citizens Councils of Local community offices emphasized Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly. Palilula Municipality was a connection in purchasing of reservoirs of other rural water supplies. Two reservoirs of 56,000 liter capacities are already given for using to villagers of Krusce. In the moment there is purchasing of three more reservoirs that will be constructed in water supply in Krusce, Berbatovo and Vukmanovo.
